QUINN CELEBRATES TITLE AT BRSCC AWARDS

Alex Quinn celebrated his British F4 Rookie title at the recent BRSCC Awards evening in Stratford upon Avon.  Alex was joined by his parents, Sam and Kathryn and his guest, Derek Walters of the Racing Steps Foundation.

Alex had an amazing Rookie season in the competitive British F4 championship taking home 16 wins and 26 podiums in the 30 race Rookie Cup.

In the main championship, in just his fourth race in F4 aged just 15, Alex took an outright race victory at Donington, a further race win at Knockhill and a dramatic lights to flag victory at Silverstone.

In total, Alex secured 6 overall podiums and finished a very creditable 7th overall in the main championship - alongside becoming the youngest ever FIA Formula 4 winner.

At the end of the 2016 race season, Alex was also awarded the prestigious Joe Tandy Memorial Trophy for outstanding achievement - to go alongside his 2016 British F4 Rookie Championship Title.

News on Alex Quinn's 2017 season plans will be announced soon, with the Cornish youngster aiming to build upon a very successful opening season in car racing.
